TONY the TEACHER

In addition to being a performer, Tony also has extensive experience teaching the arts to kids of all ages. While training in Kingston Ontario, with the "Theatre Complete" theatre company, Tony toured around issue-based shows and workshops to various schools in the region. Through doing these shows, Tony met and trained under Lisa Marie Diliberto, an actress who trained in clown in France under Philip Gaulier. Two short years later, Tony started teaching clown workshops with Lisa, to various public schools, high schools and universites around Ontario and the teaching became natural for him.

Recently, Tony became the regular acting coach for the Milton Youth Theatre Productions, teaching many different artforms from Improv, to Character Development, Monologue Preperation, Mime, Clown, and even Musical Theatre. He is also a teacher for the Great Big Theatre Company (Young People's Theatre for the Toronto Area and Southwestern Ontario), where he has added Storybook Theatre, Movement, and Ensemble to his teaching curriculum.

All workshops start with body and vocal warm-up, icebreaker game, and a focus/concentration activity.
